Ron Howard later went on to direct such popular films as "Night Shift", "Splash", "Cocoon", "Parenthood", "Backdraft", "Far and Away", "Apollo 13", "Ed TV", and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". His latest project was the Oscar winning Russell Crowe film "A Beautiful Mind".
