Time out for dad
I was out shopping at a department store. The store was having
a promotion for US Father's Day titled "Time Out for Dad."
A mother was pushing a 3 year old girl in a stroller through the
men's department. Like most 3 year olds, she was asking her
mother a lot of questions. She pointed at one of the signs and
asked, "Mom, what does that sign say?" Mom answered "It says
Time out for Dad." The little girl fell silent for about 10 seconds,
then asked "Is Dad getting a time out because he is staying
overnight at that other girl's house again?"
Most of us had the manners to leave the department before we
started laughing.
