intruder with a cane
The 35-year-old homeowner, whose name was not released by police, told the
Muncie Star Press the intruder had woken him up and terrified his family.
"I was worried that he was going to get up and do something," the homeowner
said. "I just grabbed my grandfather's cane and swung, hoping he didn't have
a gun. I just hit him until he stopped coming forward"
The intruder, 26-year-old Othello Tukes of Chicago, doesn't remember how he
ended up naked and beaten by an irate man with a cane, but police think it
may have something to do with the LSD-laced marijuana he smoked.
